6:00 P.M. opened the public meeting, suspended normal order of Business to enter Executive Session

Motion was made by Comm. Czoch and seconded by Comm. Mizak to reconvene the agenda meeting at 7:05 P.M.

                        We will be installing crash ware

  • Board approved the contract with Local 290 with a roll call vote taking place. All Commissioners were in favor.

  • Firefighter Galvez has resigned
  • Thanked the board Attorney Eric Lange for all his hard work put in to getting the contract completed

             

KEITH ADDIE SECRETARY (Excused)

BRUCE MIZAK, 1st VICE PRESIDENT

  • Ladder truck still needs to get PM done  
  • Fire Department in Pittsburgh seems interested in 5-3
  • All pump and flow tests have been completed

GREGORY CZOCH, TREASURER

  • Buildings and Grounds.

    • Fire Alarm System.
  • Sprinkler System.
    • Keyless entry system.

    • Security Camera system.

    • Lawn Maintenance.
    • Snow Removal.

Other.  –

  • Stair treads are in. C. Pennell will be putting us on the schedule.
  • Dunnigan went to 105 Avenel St. to repair a urinal
  • Dunnigan repaired the sump pump at the firehouse
  • Airtec was out to look at one of the units
  • Lawn sprinklers will be turned off in October

      4.   Communications / Correspondence.

SPILLAR, FIRE OFFICIAL

  • Received $484.50 Fire Zone Reimbursement April/May
  • Received $5,819.00 in permit monies for September
  • Open House is scheduled for Saturday 10/15 from 10 am – 1 pm
  • 5-3-7 and 5-3-8 have numerous virtual/in person CEU classes scheduled for the fall.
  • Would like to incorporate Axon BWC into budget, quote is attached.

JIM BOELHOWER, ASSISTANT FIRE CHIEF 2022

  • Calls for the month
  •  C.A.D. unit is not working
  • Auto Aid – using new roll call sheets to track calls
  • Asked about an update for a motor for the rescue boat
  • Two volunteers have started the FFI and FFII class
  • One volunteer has resigned
  • GPS unit mounted on dashboard
  • Tesla will be doing training on how to put out Electric car fires. Tentative date 10-18-22 at Iselin 11
