JOHN M. MITCH, 2^nd VICE PRESIDENT

·          

Other –     Arrow Elevator has increased its monthly maintenance price.

·         Chris Branna had some workers comp issues.

·         Marquee boards have been replaced. Will order more.

·         Workers Comp Audit

 

 

 

KEITH ADDIE SECRETARY (Excused)

 

·         Received 6 mics for the radios. Waiting for yellow mics and radios to come in.

·         Had 5-2-5 headset checked by Wireless Communications.

·         Will take the Expedition out of service eventually.

 

 

 

BRUCE MIZAK, 1^st VICE PRESIDENT

 

·         5-4 has been having some problems.

·         Will bring the boat down to be repaired the weekend of the Wildwood Convention

·         Hose testing – 8/21/2023

·         The van needed new tires.

·         Cory and Chris now have new vehicles.

·         The lighting package will be installed in the new vehicles on August 24^th.

·         5-1 went back out for issues with the night scan.

·         Will be looking into a used vehicle for the Bureau.

 

 

 

GREGORY CZOCH, TREASURER

 

• Buildings and Grounds.

 

·         Fire Alarm System.

·          

·         Sprinkler

 

·         Keyless entry system.

·         No report.

·         Security Camera system.

·         No report.

·         Lawn Maintenance.

·         Snow Removal.

 

Other.  –

 

·         Airtec was here to look at the vents in bunk room.

·         Cascade machine will be looked at this week.

·         The architect will submit a proposal on new dorm.

 

      4.   Communications / Correspondence.

 

 

SPILLAR, FIRE OFFICIAL

·         Imminent Hazard @Xperience – 505 Avenel St. Off hour reinspection overtime reimbursed.

·         Imminent hazard @Cubesmart – 881 St. Georges Ave. Unable to silence system. Off hour reinspection overtime reimbursed.

·         Received $3500 penalty from Advance Auto Parts – failure to abate violations in a timely manner.

·         Chris attended and passed 8 hours tested training.

·         Tommy passed both County and State tests, will await State certification.

·         Fire Prevention Supplies have been ordered and arrived for FPW.

 

BOARD LIASON, CORY SPILLAR

FRANK STRAIN, ASST. CHIEF 2023

·         Fire Calls for the month

·         Chief’s report

·         Next drill Sept. 6^th. Extrication

·         Structure fire on July 19^th on Rahway Ave. Three firefighters injured, all have since been cleared.

·         Coverage for Wildwood weekend

 

 

CAPT. MIZAK

·         Wildwood coverage

·         5-4 out of service

·         Always providing our truck to hang the flag. Causing wear & tear.

·         Look into putting in a 3 man recall when getting called on a first alarm.
