• Swearer had an injury
• Received an appraisal for 105 Avenel St. Will sell it to us for $400,000.00. They would then become tenants.
• Special meeting scheduled on December 27^thbetween 6 pm – 7 pm
• Mitch will make a motion to amend the budget at the meetings. Comm. Addie seconded the motion.

 

 

KEITH ADDIE (SECRETARY)

 

• Received the multi charging banks
• Rotating day and night batteries seem to be working
• Received 15 miniter IV pagers. Will be distributed come the new year

• Gear was ordered for 2 new guys

Yearly fire inspection was done – new smoke detectors were suggested

• Received $23,083.62 2019 1^stquarter LEA rebate
• Anticipated 2019 LEA – revenue #110,532.05
• Incoming Chief and Officers will be refreshed on Fire Official notification guidelines
• MWC has confirmed their 2018 RENEW project is complete and they will provide us with a new list of relocated hydrants as well as a new distribution main map
• 5-3-5 has completed and passed tested 80 IAAI Fire Inv. Class. Bureau continues to advance in Fire investigation training
• Will look to register 5-3-6 for annual IAAI conference in March

• November fire calls
• MVC abstract program
• Have 2 new guys for Fire I
• Submitted a drill list
• Bill Karlbon wants to know his status. Hasn’t made a burn
• Hand held TIC’s
• Unexcused 3 drills will result in suspension
• Cell phone issues while responding to calls
• Smoking while on the fire scene has gotten worse
• Mutual Aid protocol. Institute automatic dual response with Colonia
• Meeting with Mike Roberts from Rahway about covering the firehouse
